Create an account at HeiGIT / openrouteservice and create an API key with access to Directions. Check the provider’s current plan and usage limits.
The key is saved only in this computer’s private Loom backend storage. It is never returned to the website. Only pickup and delivery coordinates are sent to the routing provider; customer names, phone numbers and street-address text are not sent.
Checking administrator access…
A saved key still needs a successful route request to verify provider access. Missing routes or provider errors stop checkout rather than substitute an estimated distance. Routes use the provider’s driving-road profile; this is not live tracking or an exact delivery time.
